Posted by Jmz in I thought I’d share 2 fantastic tools I found while I was messing round on the web, both are free and both have become such a big part of my day that I’d be lost without them.
First of all, LogMeIn. This tool lets you use your home computer from anywhere, all you will need is an internet connection. The pro version is great and has loads of features and what’s $12 a month! But it gets better, there’s even a free version (as well as a free trial of the pro version). Since I found it I’ve used it to remote to my home computer from work at least once a day.
The next tool is for people using Gmail. You might have noticed that the mailbox size has now gone up to a whopping 5gb+. Now there’s a program that will let you use your mailbox as a spare hard drive and because its online, you can get your files from any pc with an internet connection!
Give them a shot, they’re both free, easy to install and oh so useful!
