I’ve noticed a few bits of the new skin that need attention, its nothing major though so I’ll have a look at them tomorrow. I went to Glasgow yesterday for a party and I’ve just got back now so I’m absolutely nackered and I’ll be doing as little as possible tonight.

Just quickly before I go back to bed. I need a few more links to add to the blogroll list on the right column of every page, so if you have a related site and would like to do a link exchange, let me know. The best way to get in touch is probably just to add a comment to this post as there seems to be a problem with emails from the contact form going to my spam box.

I’ve finished updating wordpress and the new skin is online, I hope you guys like it :)

I’m currently updating wordpress, so stick with me if the site breaks a bit while I’m doing it.

Everything should be finished in about half an hour.

Here’s a quick tip that can help bring in some extra traffic as you surf the net on your daily business.

Say you read a story on a blog that you think is pretty good, leave a comment and tell the author you liked the article, that’s it!

To some people this may sound obvious, but the amount of people that never think of doing this is astounding. It will take at most a minute of your time. The author will be pleased because everyone likes to be appreciated and you get a nice link to your site. Even if they add the rel=”nofollow” tag to your link people might still click it. I know a few sites I’ve found through links on comments that I still read regularly.

But don’t forget that your post shouldn’t be spammy, no-one likes a spammer :)

Well if you’ve been keeping up with recent posts, you will have noticed I promised a new design for the beginning of this month, well I’m a few days late but the design is ready and coded and I’m hoping to have it up verrry soon! I’m just finishing off another project before I put it up.

I’m debating whether to keep the blog as it is or whether to go for a more personal blog with the CSS tutorials on a seperate site :S I’ll be happy to listen to any comments from readers :) Whatever I decide to do, I’ll be aiming to post an interesting blog post at least every other day with (if I decide to keep the tutorials here) a tutorial at least once a week.

Even though I have neglected this blog the traffic has stayed quite nicely and is currently around 200 unique hits a day, I’ll be aiming to double that within a month of the new design being put up.

I’ve got a few ideas for more content that I think will help drive the traffic up so keep your eyes peeled :)
