Where’s that design at?

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

I know, I know! I said there would be a new design here soon, I have been working on it but I’ve just been so busy with my other projects that I haven’t got much done. I’m so busy at the minute that I’m considering paying someone else to do it! If you’re a designer drop me a comment and I’ll have a look at your portfolio.

I’m getting sick of the broken’ness of this design so I think I’m going to stick another (nicer :p) free one up for now. That should be on later on today.

Also, I’ll be moving the sites to a new host early next month. This one keeps going down for short spells every day and its getting on my nerves!

Woo I Got My 360!!

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

I got in from work today to find my xbox 360 had came, the problem was the game I bought with it isn’t there :( Luckily it had some stuff pre-loaded and I managed to download a few games off xbox live!

If anybody can reccommend some good games for the 360 then post a comment!

I’m working on a re-design of the homepage of FilmZone to make it a bit more user friendly, expect to see that later on this week.

I’ve also got some other sites that will be going up next week (fingers crossed) so watch this space!

Do You Run A Website?

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Are you a webmaster? Mabe you create sites to sell them? Or are you a designer, coder or programmer? Whatever you do, if you’re into websites then I’ve got the perfect forum for you! You can check it out at Websites Forums.

The only problem is, anybody can’t register, you have to be invited. But I happen to have some invites so I’ll invite the first five people that post a comment.

FilmZone Launched

Monday, November 26th, 2007

I’ve been really busy this weekend getting the new design for FilmZone online. There’s also some extra features such as the ability for visitors to rate all the films we review! I’m working on some new content now but if you have a minute, take a look at FilmZone and let me know what you think.

2 Tools I couldn’t live without!

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

I thought I’d share 2 fantastic tools I found while I was messing round on the web, both are free and both have become such a big part of my day that I’d be lost without them.

First of all, LogMeIn. This tool lets you use your home computer from anywhere, all you will need is an internet connection. The pro version is great and has loads of features and what’s $12 a month! But it gets better, there’s even a free version (as well as a free trial of the pro version). Since I found it I’ve used it to remote to my home computer from work at least once a day.

Check it out here.

The next tool is for people using Gmail. You might have noticed that the mailbox size has now gone up to a whopping 5gb+. Now there’s a program that will let you use your mailbox as a spare hard drive and because its online, you can get your files from any pc with an internet connection!

Check it out here.

Give them a shot, they’re both free, easy to install and oh so useful!
